Ferzaneh Fakdani studied social sciences and sociology at the University of Cologne and the University of Duisburg-Essen and finished her studies in 2017 with a master’s degree. Her major was transnational and comparative sociology. During her studies, she did internships at market and social research institutes and worked as a research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen, the University of Cologne and the ISG. After her graduation, she worked at the State Statistical Office (IT.NRW) and as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne (TH Köln). She has been employed as a research associate since 2019 at the ISG in the fields of social report, care planning and the participation of people with disabilities.
