The research project is part of the initiative for evidence-based policy making of the Leopoldina started in 2018 aimed at promoting the dialogue between politics and science and enhancing the use of evidence in the political process of decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>With the survey of the members of the German Parliament the research project seeks to collect systematic information on the use of scientific evidence in debates, committees and consultations of the parliament.
