On a macro-economic level, the multi-fund evaluation highlighted the contribution of the Structural Funds in Saxony to the economic performance and the reduction of unemployment. Furthermore, an assessment of fund integration and their contribution to horizontal priorities such as sustainability, equal opportunities and information society was performed.
