Accompanying scientific research and operational planning in the intervention period 2014-2020 for the European Social Fund (ESF) in Berlin

The science-based consultancy project referring to the ESF implementation in Berlin in the intervention period 2014-2020 starts with the drafting of the evaluation plan as foreseen by the relevant EU regulations. The expert’s team, which carries out all relevant evaluation and research studies related to results and impacts of the ESF implementation in Berlin, also supports the Managing Authority in all issues related to the ESF-monitoring. Support to the Managing Authority also refers to the preparation of the Annual Reports, to Berlin’s contribution to the Progress Reports that have to be submitted by the Federal level as well as to potential amendments of the Operational Programme In order to improve the implementation of single instruments and actions co-financed by the ESF, annual strategy meetings will be carried out on basis of performance reports with relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, strategic key points for the future ESF-strategy in Berlin related to the next intervention after 2020 will be elaborated and presented to decision makers in the context of the Structural Funds. The Final Report for 2007-2013 is also part of the tasks covered by the service contract with the Senate for Economy, Technology and Research.
