Katrin Hunger studied sociology at the Bielefeld University and the Free University Berlin focusing on social inequality, transnationalization and methods of empirical social research. During her studies she completed several internships in the field of labor market research. After finishing her studies (M.A.), she joined the ISG in Berlin as a research associate in 2012. Her research interests are gender equality and gender mainstreaming, labor market policy and occupational mobility in Europe.
