Regine Köller studied educational sciences at the University of Hanover where she received her diploma in 2002. Afterwards she was a Ph.D. student at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) and finished her Ph.D. thesis entitled “Retirement - More Time for Quality of Life?” in 2006. Since August 2006 she is a researcher at the ISG. Her research interests focus on gerontology, migration and guardianship law.
