The Agency for Environment, Agriculture and Geology of Saxony (LfULG) was responsible for the modernization of inter-company vocational training in the fields of agriculture and home economics. In this context, ISG provided scientific based consulting and support to LfULG on conceptual, content-related, structural and financial level covering. Important aspects covered referred for example to the European dimension of inter-company vocational training, to the compatibility of the new funding guideline with relevant requirements on European level (e.g. General Regulation on Structural Funds, ESF-Regulation or EU-Directives concerning the recognition of professional qualifications), the European Social Fund Operational Programme 2007-2013 of the Free State of Saxony and funding guidelines of similar ESF-activities in Saxony.
